About the Event

Learn to indoor grow your own cannabis plants for your personal use. Through this class you’ll learn different grow set-up techniques, preparations, and growing from the seed to vegetation stage of growing cannabis. Learn proper feeding, plant maintenance, transplanting, and how to keep your plants healthy and strong.  You'll also learn about about the racist and xenophobic history of cannabis prohibition in the United States and current efforts towards decriminalzation and legalization. Each participant will be provided a DIY guide with easy to follow steps and resources.

Tiffani Sharp is the CEO/Founder of WOC Canna.  WOC Canna provides business equity opportunities to women of color from communities adversely affected by the criminalization of cannabis. She is a licensed attorney with a specialization in international law and has spent almost 20 years advocating for the legal, social and economic rights of the underrepresented.  She has spent her entire legal career serving underrepresented populations and advocating for the legal rights of women, children, immigrants and noncitizens.  She believes that economic empowerment is key to community empowerment and believes that law and policy are means by which this empowerment can be obtained.  She has worked extensively in matters involving U.S. federal, constitutional, immigration and cannabis equity law and policy. She is also the Founder of Willow Tree Roots, an international nonprofit with a mission of helping underrepresented women feel empowered to and through entrepreneurship. She also possess a degree in Business Administration and a legal certificate in Cannabis Law.  Also an herbalist for over 20 years, Tiffani utilizes cannabis for therapeutic healing and is an indoor grower of cannabis.
